Shanaera Sinsaulii is the daughter of Bareil Sinsaulii.  She is all of 5ft tall and maybe on a rainy day she would be 100lbs soaking wet. Her hair was raven black and liked to dress in darker colors, greys and blacks, perhaps a dark green or brown now and again even.

Having grown up in a house of knowledge, Shanaera could not help herself as a child.  She was a bookworm and loved reading and all things magical.  She couldn't quite follow in the footsteps of Bareil though as her vocal cords had been damaged as a young child when she contracted a disease that had almost killed her.  She is still able to speak somewhat normal but no beautiful music would be made by the young woman.  She was teased a bit because of her more gravely deeper voice.

Not all kids were mean to her but it did jade her a little bit.  One particular young man named Aergleel Greenleaf, had even protected her at times.  They had grown really close as they got older.

Shanaera did learn some other things though from her parents and that was how to find traps, even magical ones.  A lot of this was described in books but she practiced long and hard on how to find them and even make them.  One the magical side she found that some of the spells Bareil used that had illusions suited her and were only limited to her own imagination.  About a year ago as her arcane power grew she was able to call upon a familiar to come to her side.  Having paid the needed costs for the calling Shanaera called for a day but nothing happened till that night when she was in revelry.  A tiny fox bat came and nustled up to her and fell asleep.  When she woke the next morning the bat was still there, staring up at her with a greater intelligence that she had seen in most animals.  Shanaera decided to name her Shadow.  She thought the name would confuse people which is why she did it.
