Physical Description: Sarina is a pretty and petite girl, with long blond hair, a light complexion, 5’2” and 110 lbs. She tends to dress comfortably and casually, preferring shorts and yoga pants to dresses and t-shirts to blouses.  She never wears makeup.

Personality: She is very friendly, outgoing and affectionate to her friends. She often seems a little distracted, but has a warm and trusting personality.  She is very nurturing, not terribly athletic and is severely addicted to peanut butter in any form.

Mutant Powers:  Sarina learned at an early age that she could ‘feel’ other people’s emotions.  It was unnerving to the young girl, and it was even more unnerving when she found out that her own strong emotions could be felt by others.  It was when she was 11 that she discovered that she could use those feelings and actually heal others.  It used her own energy to do so, but with her empathic ability, she could feel where an injury was, and then fix it.  However, it was something that she didn’t use very often, because she was afraid she'd get in trouble or be labelled a freak.  Also, her ability basically made her mirror the injury, which healed on her very quickly.  However, it still hurt as much as the other's had, and she worried that if the injury was too much, she might die.

Other Skills: It has only happened once, but she found she could force her strongest emotions against somebody in a form of mental attack.  She didn't kill anyone, but the event was terrifying enough that she promised herself that she would never do it again.

Weaknesses:  She is terrified of being bound, or held forcibly.  She also has a fear of being trapped in a dark place.  One time as a little girl, she accidentally locked herself in a closet, and became completely hysterical.  Also, she has a tendency to be very trusting and a bit naïve, and is easily taken advantage of by those less scrupulous than her.  She is far more trusting of others than she should be, and that has often led to trouble and heartache.

Previous History: Serina is the daughter of an ecological researcher, Dr. Henry Jenkins and a water scientist with the EPA, Lorena Jenkins.  She grew up in Colorado, and it is still her favorite place.  Her powers seemed to mature when she was 13, although they seem to still be getting stronger. Her parents do not know of her abilities, and she very carefully keeps the secret from everyone else as well.  Again, she is afraid someone will find out and something awful will happen to her.
