Clovis von Auseinander is a man of average height, standing just a bit short of six feet. He is currently his early forties, though he might appear older. His physique is deceptively slim and frail, but as strong as an acrobat. He sports greying hair and a well-groomed handlebar mustache. His eyes are deep and piercing, but also relaxed and almost unfazed, as if he was always looking down on others. He likes to wear formal clothes akin to those worn by a Victorian gentleman, such as suits, gloves, a monocle, and a top hat, always in impeccable condition. He also enjoys wearing precious jewels and gold ornaments whenever he is not "working", in a much ostentatious manner.
