Physical Description: Isake is not a monster of a man by any means. Standing only 5'8", there are plenty who tower over him, with builds that put his own to shame. Still, the way he moves suggests a seasoned fighter, used to the chaotic melee that most gang wars develop into. His body bears the scars of hundreds of brawls and assassination attempt. His dark hair is usually kept short, roughly cut with a knife to keep it out of his face. Dark eyes peer at the world around him with a sort of brutal cunning and cold determination born from years of fighting off the opposition.

Personality: Isake would be the first to tell anyone he's not a smart man. He doesn't consider himself particularly well suited to planning or execution, nor does he see himself as a great leader, and generally speaking he's content to keep to his place in the slums, seeing to the needs of his own. Still, he's known for being blunt and up front in conversation, and he prescribes to the saying of "honor among thieves". When he makes an agreement, he sees it to the its often bloody end, and he can be remarkably loyal to those who do right by him and his.

Almost as a byproduct, he detests the duplicity and doublespeak of many residence of the City. He would much prefer settle a problem through violence, finding it the quickest route to resolving issues. Still, he's learned in his years as a Shadow Lord that he can't always resort to an open gang war, and he's learned some measure of self restraint and the nature of politics in his time upon the council.

History: Isake Silver was an orphan on the streets of the City, growing up alongside the cutthroat murder and brutal beat downs that frequent the streets. Like many orphans, he stole to survive, trading what couldn't be eaten for meager coin just to survive another day. Frequently he was the subject of muggings by the older and stronger. As he grew, he too resorted to similar violence to survive, taking from those weaker than him. Unlike many, he managed to struggle long enough to grow to adult-hood, and find in himself a ruthless savagery that is rarely matched. He was quickly welcomed into one of the local gangs, finding his place as an enforcer and honing his skills in the careful application of violence to solve problems. As his experience grew, his reputation grew with him, and his growing notoriety had him gain his nickname as the "Ripper". After a particularly bloody gang war that resulted in the near destruction of the first gang that had taken him in, simply because of the hesitation of its leader, Isake decided he'd had enough bowing to others.

Soon enough, he'd gathered together like minded individuals, forming the Dead Crows gang and setting out to carve a bloody path through the city, putting down gangs and absorbing those that survived. Few rose to threaten the newly rising gang, simply because of the speed and viciousness with which they struck. Any who put up a struggle were left bloody messes, their corpses left to the crows to feast upon as a warning. Within two years, Isake was the de facto master of the slums, overseeing nearly all smuggling, racketeering and protection within his influence. Under him, the slums have actually seen an influx of money and prestige, and despite the name conditions have actually improved remarkably. Still, there are always new gangs looking to make a name for themselves, willing to push in on Dead Crow territory, and inevitably they are met with the brutal destruction that has come to mark Isake's reign over the slums.
