Dain is slightly below average in height for a dwarf, and slightly heavier.  These attributes are easily overlooked, as his face is covered with various scars.  When parts of his arms are exposed to view, they too reveal that they bear scars.

One might think that Dain has been run through a meat grinder at some point in his life . . .

Still, he has a rather jovial demeanor -- apparently.

As his surname suggests, he has an affinity for axes.  He has two handaxes strapped to his belt and carries a battle axe as well.
