Marc Fallon grew up between New Orleans and Beaumont, Texas. The Fallon family was known for their horses which they traded. As a youth he would hang around the fencing schools, where he learned how to use blades of many types. He also traveled to Texas a lot to help with the capture, breaking and training of the horses which his family would sell. During a duel he killed a young man from a powerful family, this caused him to flee the south. Now at the age of 18 he has joined the Union Army and was assigned to the 35th Maine to handle the mounts of the officers.
