Johan Blaze seems to be a young man in riding leathers. Despite his appearance, he is often seen without a mount. He would be handsome, expect for the haunted look of someone who has seen too much.

The Rider seems to be a burning skeleton in a black hooded robe. Its fire does no harm to its possessions, including the burning metal chain it seems to form from nothingness. The Rider often summons a skeletal mount from a burning pit it creates.
