Durcaeth Grimvine

Durcaeth Grimvine is a 5’9” tall intimidating spite-revanant. While Grimvine is not overly bulky or cumbersome creature, the bark growth gives him a wider frame. The bark itself is hard as steel, having narrow veins of metal and crystal running through it forming visible patterns with multitude of healed scars.

The bark covers his whole lower body, left side of his torso, whole left arm and the right arm from elbow down. In addition multiple narrow,  twisting branches grow from his left shoulder and they sometimes seem to shift when someone only sees them from the corner of their eyes. There is a single skull of a chaos knight hanging from one of the branches. Grimvine does not usually carry any weapons, but then again he seldom needs to. Both of his hands end up in massive talons with wicked sharp claws capable of rending wood, stone and metal.

The part of Grimvine not covered in bark is of dark, greenish complexion with uneven blotching coloration. His hair is formed from something that looks like long dark weeds running down on his back. Grimvine’s eyes have an energetic orange glow in them. He has the unsettling habit of staring others right into the eyes, usually with head slightly tilted, which might make others feel like they are prey soon to be hunted.

There is a bit of a strange dichotomy in Grimvine’s bearing. Especially in a combat he is feral and terrifying sight with his slight grouch, spread claws and bloodlust-filled grin. However once in a while, when the spite-revenant stands looking into the distance, submerged in his thoughts, a glint of something regal and proud can be seen in his features. Grimvine is not usually very talkative, taking his time to choose words if he cares to reply at all. The words, when delivered, show even more of the dichotomy in the scarred spite-revenant. His voice is surprisingly melodic, almost like listening a song, but most often filled with strong emotions like hatred, despair, sorrow or yearning.
