Description: Deborah is a real looker. Her naturally long red hair and complete dusting of freckles all over her body make her exotic even by western kindred standards. Her blue eyes captivate. Deborah has lost most of her Irish accent, but she can whip it up and spit it out on a second's notice. In fact, Deborah is great at all kinds of accents and is known to be a linguist par none. She has a wicked sense of humor and a razor sharp wit. Deborah finds it amusing when she is mistaken for Mary Jane by young kindred, and has been known to dress and act like the Toreador just to be annoying. Deborah finds it easy to get under somebody's skin, and her Jester nature means that getting annoyed with her antics is just an invitation for her to keep it up. When in the presence of her equals, Deborah's demeanor takes on a more serious tone where she dresses and acts appropriately.



Brief Bio: Deborah's surname, NicAdams, if it is actually her surname, would mean Daughter of Adams. This has led some kindred scholars to speculate that Deborah came from an Irish family where there were no sons and the patriarch gave way to the matriarch. To hear Deborah tell it, she was a witch, and that is what led to her embrace. The casual way in which she says this means that it is either very true or very much a lie that she has told so often it doesn't even cross her mind to say it.

Witch or not, Deborah is an extremely powerful Thaumaturge and the matriarch of Clan Tremere. She is old, smart, and powerful enough to more or less say and do whatever she wants. Of all of the Primogen, Riley Ishikawa differs to Deborah the most. Of all the Primogen, only Catrina Armstrong is capable of challenging her openly, and that doesn't seem likely. If the rumor mill is to be believed, Deborah already has her hooks in Catrina's childe, Elizabeth.

Socially, Deborah is a master at playing the power behind the throne. She's always been that way and has made a name for herself being a Harpy, and for several decades, Keeper of Elysium in Roanoke, Virginia. Deborah has always had a fascination with American Indian culture, but specifically mythology and language. Languages are a necessary hobby for Deborah. More than once she's interrupted kindred communicating in what they thought was an obscure dialect and embarrassed them for even trying.

Deborah is known to be something of a class clown among kindred, and as noted, has impersonated Mary Jane Clemmons on more than one occasion. The fact that Mary Jane doesn't find it at all amusing or flattering just makes it worse. To many other kindred, especially the younger ones with Anarch tendencies, Deborah seems like a friendly ally or contact. It is disarming and alluring that she takes the time to hear them out. However, "Aunt Debbie" gets the other powerful Camarilla kindred to smugly smirk because they know what she's doing - setting them up for failure.

Deborah is one of the most well connected and most well entrenched kindred in the city.
