Description: Luther is one of, if not the tallest kindred in San Diego. He has a quietly menacing look to him, but prefers to dress well and conduct himself in a presentable, professional fashion. Even when the time calls for high class attire, Luther is modest. He avoid flashiness and goes out of his way to keep his privacy. Luther is also very inquisitive, but discrete at the same time.



Brief Bio: Luther is by far the most popular member of the Banu Haquim. He had been operating in the southern California region for decades before the former Assamites joined the Camarilla. Luther is more favored than his reclusive Primogen, largely because he is easier to deal with. He is more educated than Penelope regarding kindred politics and has carefully cultivated his reputation as a kindred who could get things done. Furthermore, he is known to hold several of the Toreador, some of the Ventrue, and a Nosferatu or two in his debt. Luther doesn't call on debts very often and he's careful not to make a big deal of them.

In life, Luther was a police Detective from Chicago who developed a reputation for maybe taking the law into his own hands in order to stop criminals from getting away on technicalities. He was smart and dedicated to the task at hand. He knew how to do what needed to be done and walk away from it all. It didn't take Luther too awfully long to figure out what Penelope was up too. He also thinks it is an absolutely terrible idea that will cause unrepairable damage to the whole clan during it's infancy in membership to the Camarilla.

Politics and popularity aside, Luther differs from Penelope in another important way. He is a 'big picture' type of kindred that evolves with the times. He is surprisingly savvy with technology and prefers to use a gun over the more antiquated blades used centuries before. Luther isn't nearly as interested in taking Penelope's position on the Primogen Council as he is getting to the throne or expanding his own influence. Luther is known to have significant Law Enforcement as well as Underworld and Medical connections. He is rumored to be branching out into the Legal, Bureaucratic,
and religious sectors as well.
