Wilem is the third son of Lord John de Bereford. He is tall and strongly built with the demeanor and shapely nose of a brawler. Indeed, it was Wilem's eagerness for combat that led to his career choice. Lord John could tolerate Wilem's rugged nature but when it began tarnishing the family reputation he took action.

John used his connections to have his boy inducted into the monastic life. Wilem doesn't know for sure but he suspects his father was also behind his transfer to Moulin Kirk. Far from his family, Wilem learned to master the fire and faith in his heart, rejecting the life of a monk for that of the paladin.

Paradigm: Divine Order and Earthly Chaos (Using M20 p568)

Practices
   Primary - Faith
At the core of Wilem's mystical power is a rock-solid faith in Jesus Christ and His Church. All of his workings involve invocations of angels and saints for enhanced personal power.

   High Ritual Magick
Ritual is a very large part of Christian tradition and practice. Sect theurgy is highly ritualistic.

   Martial Arts
Man is made in God's image and so, Man is the ultimate weapon. Wilem doesn't believe in the strength of his weapons like his brothers. He knows that it's not the sword but the man who must be defeated. Ultimately power lies in the man and so the focus of Wilem's training is not to master a weapon but to make himself a better warrior.
