Dr. Sita Chandrasakar
(pronounced Seetah Shahn-drah-shaker, like salt shaker)

Before the War, Sita was an accomplished medical researcher. Her career took a twist that hit close to home, when her sister was diagnosed with an incurable, terminal illness. Despite all of her scientific acumen, Sita was unable to find a treatment . . . at least, not one that would ever be ready in time to save her sibling.

The situation became even more dire when the War began, and Sita found herself transformed to the invading Orrorshan reality, her Victorian-era medical skills now even less suited to the task at hand than before. Determined not to give up, she began investigating possible Occult solutions to the problem; and eventually found that, even if the Occult *could* help, the price in the end would be far, far too high . . .

Not losing hope, Sita then traveled to North America, following rumors of mysterious "priests of life" among the invading edeinos, who could work miracles of faith and healing. This, too, proved fruitless, but in the process she made new friends: fellow "Storm Knights" like her, also working for the benefit of all. Together, Sita hoped that she and her new allies would eventually overcome the terrible darkness that she'd left behind, back in Orrorsh.

The terrible darkness she'd left behind . . . and which now, inexorably, followed wherever she went . . .
