James Peterson, "Call me, Jim" is a child of his age, a baby boomer, born 3 years after his dad came back from WW2, raised on Rock and Roll and the South. Two tours in 'Nam honed a childhood hunting to a fine art.

After trying everything to keep going, God got his attention one day and put him on a different path. College followed, then a seminary at a good Southern Baptist  school. He was just getting set up in his first pastorate when the bridges dropped and he felt God's call again, this time to pick up both his gun and his Bible and combine both callings.
