Tall and burly Adbur is a typical Himelian hillman with a thick beard and bushy, wavy black hair.  His eyes are blue indicating some admixture of foreign blood but his heart and soul are in his mountains.

His tribe was attacked and scattered by the Vendhyans leaving Abdur to wander as he plots dreams of vengeance.
