No one wants to mess with Glessiea once a member of far off Aglarond there were ever rumors she was once one of the Witches of Rashamen. The story goes that she was rather dark in her studies and that while most used their abilities to rule the berserkers she was busy using them to drive them insane.

Oh the fun.

She escaped from Aglarond only to appear again in Halruua with magic that had not yet been seen and she flaunted it taking on apprentices and doing her level best to carve out a niche for herself. Which she did for about one hundred years until some of her bad doings were discovered. She had been caught helping Yaunti capture and enslave magic using human's to serve as tainted ones and again she fled into the night with pleasure.

Finally she reappeared recently within Thay, aiding the Red Wizard, who give her a wide berth because she is truly one of those people you do not wish to cross. Still her research is amazing, and her skills at creating aberrations is simply put the best.

Not that those who fall afoul of her would say so.
