Radu appears as a weak person, almost foppish. It is the perfect deception. His blond hair are unusual while his blue eyes are friendly and welcoming and his features elegant. He tries to show himself as civilized. The Westerners are so puzzled by his curious orientalism. They find him so amusing, and his hospitality is considered charming. Because he so loves to participate in mortal culture, he has learned to age his appearance over time. Every 25 years, he returns to the visage of a 25-year-old man and assumes a new identity to deal with mortals.

Since the days of ancient Dacia, Radu’s family has faithfully served the Tzimisce clan. In the year 1110, he clawed his way out of his mother’s womb as a revenant. Through insight and talent, he continued the effort. After gaining the favor of a feudal lord, Radu was chosen as an ambassador to the West. Regularly conversing with the rulers of the other domains, he quickly gained a reputation for diplomacy. Through Radu, maintained diplomatic relations with the Arpad Ventrue and the rest of Europe. Radu’s authority and diplomatic skills are acknowledge by both the voivodes of his clan and other Cainites of Transylvania. Radu also attempted to intercede many times on behalf of Southern Arpad vassals to try and establish peaceful relations with the Tzimisce, although this proved to be impossible in most situations given the nature of the Saxon settlements and the acrimony between the Arpads and the Voivodate. He is exceedingly loyal to his ties of blood and possesses the diplomacy to maintain good relations with contentious feudal lords. He maintains contact with the Southern vassals through the Gangrel Tiberiu, and has expressed his hope that unity in Transylvania can be reestablished, though he considers it to an improbable task at best.
