Lucita de Aragon

Lucita de Aragon

Clan: Lasombra
Nature: Defender
Demeanor: Pedagogue
Apparent Age: 17

Lucita is tall and lithe and has a dusky, classical tone to her skin. She has black hair like many people of Spanish descent, but there is no Moorish influence in her features. She typically wears garb of a noblewoman, but these clothes are often dark and somber affairs. Her patrician birth and upbringing have given her a natural nobility and carriage. Though she is learning warfare, she most often succeeds through tact and negotiation. Her thirst for experience is best satisfied by traveling to distant lands.

The daughter of Alfonse I of Aragon, Lucita grew up privileged but chafed under her responsibility to her father and family. She grew up in clerical circles, studying Greek philosophy and enriching her knowledge through contact with Islamic culture. Her confessor was the Lasombra Ambrosio Luis Monçada, who recognized an indomitable will and a fierce independence in the young Lucita. The young woman developed excellent social abilities, with particular intuition for political intrigues. After talking with others of his clan, Monçada thought that the Lasombra could greatly benefit from this individual of high birth, but he first wanted to take the girl with him around Europe for a while, before making a final decision. Eventually Monçada and Lucida arrived in Transylvania. Shortly after their arrival, the Lasombra embraced Lucita, but then mysteriously departed, leaving her alone. The Malkavian Octavio took care of her and became Lucita's mentor, transmitting important teachings to her, especially about vampiric existence. Lucita found herself at home with Octavio, who inspired in her more knowledge than Monçada ever could.
