The first thing one notices about Astrid is her height. At around six feet, she dwarfs most women and even towers over some men. She is athletic, flexible, and fit, and isn't shy about demonstrating her capabilities. She has dark blue eyes and long, blond hair that she often wears in a braid.

Astrid prefers to wear a leather bikini into battle, though has relatively few scars to show for such a cavalier attitude about coverage. When relaxing, Astrid generally wears long, loose dresses, preferably in a pastel color. She wears three rings on her right hand, and a leather cord with a silver medallion around her neck. She occasionally wears a winged headband, which has caused some to nickname her 'Valkyrie'.
