Darius Warnok, dream driven, relentlessly optimistic, undeterred by generations of failure, understanding the underpinnings of politics and hierarchies on a philosophical level, and possessing a problem solving mind that can dive into the roots of material power itself. He believes the family simply needs more funding to test some promising research directions that should cause considerably less collateral damage this time. The family had neglected its noble standings for some time, and it was time to remind the world that the Warnoks were not to be ignored any more.

The Warnoks were simultaneously appreciated and dreaded by their people. Appreciated, for their understanding of infrastructure and understanding of applications of steamtech in household water and heat delivery systems, as well as pushing the boundaries of AEther research and its applications to said steamtech. Dreaded, for exactly those reasons just given, as boundary pushing tends to result in a lot of pushing back and occasionally mass property damage.

To the Warnoks, there was clearly an underlying force at work in the technology they were exploiting and using. After all, steam power alone should not yield the results it did prior to its discovery, and yet, despite all mathematical formula, it was clearly working and generating far more power than it should. There was an unknown math underneath it, one that awaited discovery, and they believed they knew what it was.

It was just a matter of proving it.
