Personality   : a rather friendly (and non-Scottish) dwarf, Alberich is generally a cheerful sort, and can get along with most folks. However, people who are slovenly, careless of the hard work of others, or those who don't get the idea of "mine not yours" really grind his gears. He can be a bit blustery, but a pass at arms or a few drinks will generally set things to rights. He can also be a bit..nerdy about things he is interested in, so the right(wrong?) topic can leave you in for a long ear-bending.

Brief History : Alberich grew up near the forges of the clan, and like many of the youths, started helping the smiths early. He was apprenticed to one of the masters, got as far as journeyman (and the introduction of magecraft into the crafting) before deciding that he'd rather be an adventurer than a smith. This may be from a desire to make an impact in something other than hot metal, or just to see more of the world than his more insular relatives.
