Jax is a good-looking, despite his angular, young human who is of average height and a healthy build.  His wavy hair is of a copper tone, and of shoulder-length, his intense eyes have large irises an almost liquid, emerald green and the pupils almost slitted, his complexion always tanned or a bit sun-burnt, with a metallic sheen, even in winter (because of the tiny, coppery scales), and his smile is infectious (sometimes revealing teeth that seem slightly sharper than normal).
His clothing is sturdy, homespun, and gives no indication of what his trade might be.  Weapon wise, he wears a sling like a headband, with a pair of daggers at the back, and a bag of bullets at the left side, of his belt, and he carries a simple, unadorned rod as a walking stick.
