Description: Caylius appears as a striking young Eladrin man about 5'10'' tall and perhaps 130 pounds. He is lithe and graceful in his movements, with long pointed ears, yellow eyes, and silvery-white hair that seems to always be billowing in an unseen breeze somehow that frames his pale features. He is regal-looking and attractive, with features obviously resulting from good breeding and lineage. Although he is cool and aloof as his fey nature is stronger than normal within him, but he also is even further disconnected from normal people due to his elemental nature as well. A strange blend of Fey and Elemental creates something more exotic yet more removed from normal people than even normal Eladrin would be. He is paler than even most Eladrin, and his yellow eyes are unheard of in normal Eladrin.

Unknown to many except the educated and scholarly, Caylius' billowing hair, pale features, and characteristic yellow eyes are all classic indicators that he is a member of a rare sub-species of Eladrin called the Val Eladrin, with his accentuated features indicating he is from the direct lineage of the Val Eladrin's Archfey matriarch Valveria. The Val Eladrin are different from normal Eladrin in that instead of their nobility and royalty being aspected toward one of the seasons they are aspected instead toward elemental air. And to a degree where they are now something in between fey and elemental. Normal Val Eladrin all have a touch of air about them, but their nobility and royalty are deeply touched by it as is their Archfey Valveria herself.

Backstory Tie-In to Game: The Val Eladrin had a racial relic of theirs, the Zephrys, stolen from the ruin they had sealed it in by an unknown third party. The Zephyrus is a Genie Vessel for a royal Djinn named Zephyr that was sealed by the Archfey Valveria centuries ago as the result of an escalated conflict between her Eladrin court and one of the Courts of Elemental Air. While the vessel was bound to her very bloodline and rendered unusable in the normal sense, it still is a potent arcane relic that could potentially be misused by outsiders. Its power also sparked internal schism within the royal Val Eladrin lineage between the two ruling lines that wanted its power for themselves while the Archfey Valveria herself was utterly indifferent to it all. Thus, to avoid an outright familial clash as well as prevent racial enemies from being able to use it against them, the Zephyrus was sealed away collectively by the Val Eladrin people.

Caylius has blood ties to both sides of the Royal Val Eladrin lineage, and is one of the few people who neither side would protest securing the Zephyrus. Despite being only a lesser princeling right now at game start, he decided to work on behalf of his people to try and track down and retrieve the lost Zephyrus. And if possible...find a way to punish the thief for daring to steal from the Val Eladrin. And the trail leads to Needlerock before going cold again.
