Aduz Agave
"Well, Dog, this place isn't so bad." Aduz huddles up to his pet pig for warmth. "It was nice of that farmer to let us sleep in his barn. All I have to do is muck out the stalls, feed and water all his cattle and horses, milk the two diary cows, and gather up all the eggs from the chickens. His wife even gave me an old loaf of bread, some beer that was only a little soured, and some kitchen scraps for you." He scratches the pig's head and gets a contented grunt in reply."All you animals make so much more sense than people. I still don't understand that girl, and why she went off with those bandits." He thinks back to two days before, when he heard a feminine call for help from an alley. Of course, he rushed in to do what he could, but the girl didn't seem to be in any trouble at all. Then he turned around to see three men with clubs who attacked him all at once. "I probably could have beaten them if I had been able to get Grandpa's greatsword out. I guess the girl was trying to help me get the tie at top undone, but she got in the way and I couldn't get it out before all those bandits had knocked me down. It's a good thing the city guards were right around the corner, or the bandits would have gotten the sword, too, in addition to all the coins they took."
Aduz looks down at his bruises, which have already started to heal. "Tomorrow, I think, after I finish the chores for the nice farmer, I'll go see if there is something I can do to make some money. I could work as a guard, maybe, for a caravan, or something." He lies down to go to sleep.
Aduz is a huge, powerful-looking human. He wears armor made from animal hides that have been boiled to hardness, and he carries a greatsword strapped to his back in a side-release scabbard. His black, curly hair is cut short and he sports a small black mustache and beard. He is quite a handsome man, with strong cheekbones and a ready smile. His voice is deep and sonorous, especially when he sings.
