Mikael Bhei's clothing, gear and accent mark him as a foreigner from the distant islands. He doesn't wear armor or carry and obvious weapons. Unimpressive, physically, he has intense, inquisitive-looking eyes, and usually carries a dagger and no other weaponry.

He has a small lizard on his shoulder that perpetually looks out of sorts since it's a little cold for him. If it gets particularly chilly he'll crawl into a special belt pouch for him.

Someone very sharp-eyed might notice a holy sign of Gatu (god of Volcanos and explosive catastrophe) upon him.
