The Lord of Wendish Town is a careful and considerate man in his late forties, and more likely to  be found in trim and practical courtier's garments that the garments of war. For this, he is spoken of derisively by most of the knights and lords of the Riverlands, though seldom to his face.

He is slim of build, with a prominent nose and oddly misshapen ears. Despite this, the rich timbre of his voice is oddly compelling, and the breadth of his knowledge on all manner of affairs is widely regarded. He is best known for his management of Wendish Town, and for discussions of trade and taxation, though he has been known to tend to the concerns of his liege, the Lady Agnes Blackwood, on more than one occasion.
