Marek stands several inches over six feet, and has a long, thick mane of black hair. His eyes are the dark brown, though are often mistaken for an inky black at first glance. Like his personality, Marek’s nose is larger than one would expect. He usually wears a beard, and the hair above his lips and on his chin are both kept trimmed. The ship’s mage (and surgeon) has a body that is lithe and flexible, though he is more apt to exercise his mind than his muscles.

Marek tends to wear bright colors, and most often chooses reds and oranges as the primary hues of his clothing. He keeps a sword at his side and seems to believe it to be some kind of status symbol.
