Miss Leads

Of course she is a Chosen of Jupiter (Secrets)... her name alone implies that very fact.  Miss Leads is perhaps the youngest Sidereal on the Bureau's employee ledger.  That's not to say she isn't a valued member, but Fate always ensures that the junior employee gets the shit job (and nobody wanted to work directly for the Meruvian Deliberative).  Her Superiors sympathize (at least a little) but its all about priorities:  better her than someone they cannot afford to lose.  Worse still, Miss Leads has become so entrenched within the system that she cannot fathom a life away from the Deliberative.  She's worked too hard and made too many compromises.

Miss Leads appears as a pretty young woman in her late 20's, with neatly kept brown hair and green eyes so dark, its hard to tell their color at a distance.  She is slim and short, perhaps even on the fragile side.  Miss Leads is often encountered in corporate wear, giving preference to dark jackets, skirts, and heeled shoes.  As the aide of Senator Griff Shaden (himself a decorated military man), Miss Leads is expected to be presentable and on hand to deal with a multitude of tasks.  She frequently fronts the media on behalf of the Senator (or assists him when he gives speeches/interviews).  And then there are 'clean up' duties that entails working for a firebrand and well known ladies man.  Senator Shaden would long have departed office, if it were not for Miss Leads.

Naturally a lot of her work goes unnoticed by most, but she has learned to embrace her anonymity.  Miss Leads gets thing done on the strength of her connections and credentials.  Her Sidereal powers also help a lot, saving the Meruvian Deliberative from scandal and misfortune (even if sometimes they deserved such things).  However Miss Leads is but one person in a sea of bureaucrats and politicians... it is simply impossible to micromanage such a beast.
