Yar'nasse'en of Duskwood

High Sorcress of Duskwood, Archsorcress of the Green and a prime example of one does not trifle with sorcery. She and her followers appear to be afflicted by some terrible malady that causes rose thorns to burst forth from their skin.

It is said there is no blessing, sin or terror she cannot commit with fauna - although return from dead seems unlikely, and yet she is always seen teaching young human girls the most basic of lessons - while she cannot free anyone, she seems determined to make their foundation strong.

"Do you see? I have looked thus since... the the Greenwood died. My blessing and my curse. Straighter now, on the balls of your toes. No client will pay for slouching - and if you think it hurts, imagine how slipping out of my night dress feels? Of course I wear one, I'm not an animal."

She is the Mistress of the District of the Greenwood, a place of safety and terror - for fauna are not the most... controlable of subjects, and once you let them move...

... it is said her true form is that of a great Thorned oak, which she assumes in her tree-top palace, where she becomes the mind of the district, offering safety to some and hostility to those who would harm her people.

"When I completed the spell I was perhaps a hundred meters in height, and miles wide and long. All the trees beat sap in time to my heart, and the attacking Empire's flame licked at my skin... that was my error - bird instincts - what, it surprises you elves are as from birds as you are from monkies? I flinched, and terror reflexes caused me to grow defences around myself, to drive back the attackers - the Divine Fire flowed through me... and... this resulted... and now... I'm afraid I must share some of this with you, elf-sister, to make to stronger. You will enjoy it, most do. But... do not fight the vines, please. I know, the thorns hurt. Oh Fire most Terrible, do I know..."
