Shim is a half-elf blonde of hair and blue of eye. He's near average human height, a bit on the short side, and has a slender build. H wears leather armor in the form of a long leather jacket and a leather vest. In situations where he knows to anticipate a fight, he carries a wooden shield and scimitar, but more often he carries a staff or no form of weapon at all. In the pocket of his vest, tied to a leather thong, is a golden monocle with no manner of lens; he pulls it out to mock nobility at times, or plays with it as a fidget. A recent addition to his kit is a short length of dark red horn, cut from a kobold's head. Sometimes his horn hangs from a loop of leather on his belt, other times it stays tucked inside a pocket. Shim hasn't quite made up his mind where the thing belongs, but he seems keen on keeping it nonetheless. The item he is most well known for, however, is a glass orb he carries that is filled with floating stars of light, that seems to mimic the lights you would see by looking through it, no matter what time of day or from what angle you or the orb itself moves. He claims to have made it himself, which seems a bit unlikely and yet it seems entirely unique.
