Jamus Reese is a rather imposing figure for a man of faith. He stands at about 6'3, with very broad shoulders, grey hair, blue eyes, and a scar on his neck. However his kindly face quickly lets you know that he is a trusted friend, and one who can back you up when needed.

Jamus grew up in a small logging village to the north. He and his family for generations were loggers, craftsmen, and artisans. Due to his size, Jamus volunteered to be a member of a volunteer militia, that gathered able bodies from the village, nearby farms, and a small fishing town to defend the region from threats and border skirmishes.

Jamus trained as a warrior, learning to attack and defend from the local leaders, and was quite good at it. Jamus became betrothed and was due to marry a younger girl from one of the nearby farms.

Unfortunately, life had other plans. A band of orcs threatened the village. Jamus and the other members of the militia were called to defend the town, which the orcs started to burn and pillage. Jamus was injured in battle with a serious wound to his neck, and was taken to the nearby healers of the Order of Ehlonna.

When Jamus recovered, he learned that his betrothed's family's farm was burned to the ground, and thinking he was dead in battle, she and her family departed the region to restart their life elsewhere.

However, his time with the Order of Ehlonna changed Jamus, and he went back to them to learn more about their faith, and found that he took to it very comfortably, eventually leaving his life as a logger, to become a Cleric of the Order of Ehlonna.
