Tessa Evans

Name: Tessa Evans

Occupation: Ballet/Contemporary Dance

Actual Age/Apparent Age: 24

Gender: female

Sexuality:

Appearance: Bright eyes, slender nose, elegant neck all lead to a fragile appearing frame making up the slip of a woman.

Deep brown hair flows to the middle of her back, little wisps framing her face when she pulls her hair back.

Tessa has the honed lines of a dancer. Long arms and legs seem to flow from her slender torso, lending an elegance to her delicate frame. While nothing about her seems to speak of strength, Tessa is an exceptional runner, suggesting the hidden, elegant strength common in all dancers.

Personality: Tessa has a quiet confidence about her, allowing her to stand tall, even if her dance training would let her slouch even a little. She offers a graceful peace to those around her, from helping others in class understand certain techniques better, or simply just adding a smile to the room.

She is soft spoken, and usually remains quiet, often causing people to consider her a wallflower, when really she might not see the need to speak. Poised and refined in actions as well as stance, one must truly ruffle her feathers to get her to not think through what to say before it is said.

However, once that door is opened, Tessa tends to let her words flow without holding back, she will say what’s on her mind and make sure her stance is known. Having been followed around by bodyguards her whole life might have given her a lack of fear for reprisal, should her words go too far. Though, this lack of filter only happens rarely, when she is too stressed or angry to care what someone might think of her.

It is only in the quiet moments when alone, save for the everpresent bodyguards, that one might notice a longing in her features. Yet even Tessa finds it hard to pin down the feeling. It might be loneliness, but there is someone around at all times. It never really dawned on her that one could be lonely even when surrounded by people, if they are not the right ones.

She has her dance and school, but outside of those, no real social life. Tessa prefers quiet nights listening to music or reading to any sort of party scene like most her age might.

Abilities/Skills:
Dance - Tessa is an incredible dancer, trained in both ballet and contemporary. Lessons started for her at a young age, allowing her to grow into her form and style, and while most take notice when she takes the stage, rarely does she treat any role she gains with anything but humble gratitude for the chance to dance.

History: Tessa grew up in a quiet home with a mother that worked. As far as she knows, she doesn’t have a father, though as she grew older, she understood that one clearly existed, but had no idea, nor any real interest, in who it might be. She wanted for little and asked for less, finding happiness in an easy life.

As a child, she once asked her mother who the men in suits were that followed them around. Her mother replied, calling them protectors. From then on, Tessa never truly paid much attention to them, as they only ever really filled the role of ever present shadows no matter where she was or what she did. They drove her to school, to dance, home, and anywhere she needed to go, only asking where to and for how long, so a car could be available when needed. Beyond that, no true conversation happened between her and them.

During her teenage years, she spoke out a little more, naming one Charlie and the other Tom one day when she got tired of them never talking. It worked well, once one realized the names were used interchangeably, and the faces weren’t the same, as the men in the suits rotated through a handful of guards, rather than remaining the same two people at all times.

These shadows remained with her at every function, from school to recitals, to auditions. It didn’t matter where she was or what she was doing, they were somewhere nearby. Even as she moved into her adult life, the suited guards remained, leaving her with a sense of familiarity when she moved out of her mother’s house and into her own apartment.
