Backstory:
Brock Jones was an all-American hero. 6' 2", 200 lbs, and with striking blonde hair and blue eyes, the pro-football quarterback was a true hero to many. He would go on to win the Super Bowl, despite having a broken ankle. However, fame was fleeting. Brock, wanting more money, took an early retirement to become vice president of Delmar Insurance. The boring desk job grinded away on Brock, especially as he watched costumed heroes like Daredevil earn fame and recognition through their exploits. A chance encounter with the dying Michael Stivak (the original Torpedo) -- who had been crushed in a partial collapse of the Delmar Insurance offices while fighting Daredevil -- led to Brock taking up the fallen Torpedo's armor and name. The confusion between the two was only resolved when their fight nearly took the lives of an entire family, and Torpedo retired. The retirement wasn't for long, though, as Torpedo returned to chase down a robber (the Chameleon in disguise). Daredevil aided his former foe, and allowed Brock to take the credit for the capture.

Brock Jones works as vice president of the Delmar Insurance company by day, but spends his nights and days off fighting crime and seeking to recapture his lost glory as the Torpedo. His wife Lorraine and two children (son Danny and daughter Annie) are unaware of his alter ego.

Specialties and Distinctions taken from here (albeit, with changes as I'm ignoring everything Torpedo did in the Rom comic line): https://forum.rpg.net/index.php?threads/mhr-more-lost-files-of-marvel.675222/

Why are the Affiliations different from the one above? Simple. The one above includes Torpedo's time with Rom, where he gained more experience working with a Buddy. I'm only counting his time in Daredevil and his solo prints in Marvel Premiere, where he had a buddy just once (with Daredevil vs Chameleon, in Daredevil #134).
