Brannen stands just over the halfway point between five and six feet tall. He has a just a bit of a paunch from his enjoyment of eating and drinking, but otherwise is athletic and graceful. His brown hair is short in the back, but the front is longer and hangs down a bit. His eyes are a similar dark brown color, and his skin looks as though it has seen the sun and weather quite a bit.

He has several earrings in each of his pointed ears, though his features mark him as a half-elf, not full-blooded. There are a number of tattoos on his body, a creeping vine or brush or dark flower sort of one visible climbing up his neck and face a bit. The most immediately noticeable thing for most people is the scar across his face, old and a bit faded, but hard to miss since it crosses his lips even.

He tends to favor dark clothing that allows free range of movement. The style of it tends to invoke thoughts of sailors or pirates, flowing pants tapered to the skin near the ankles, more of a vest than a shirt almost, and a long flowing jacket, though the sturdy boots ruin the effect if only slightly.
