Torgrim Squallborn

Name: Torgrim Squallborn
Species: Wood Half-Elf
Age: Mid-thirties
Height: About 6 feet / 180cm
Class: Phantom Rogue
Background: Criminal

Appearance: Despide his sly smile and lighthearted demeanor, Torgrim's sunken, baggy pair of dark blue eyes, head and face of grizzled hair and deeply-furrowed countenance gives off the immediate impression of a haunted, sleepless soul aged beyond their years.

Backstory: Born as the child of a human vagabond and an elven mystic, Torgrim was raised by the elves in his mother's tribe in the frigid wilds of Icewind Dale. After a few years, it became apparent that Torgrim had inherited his mother's ability to communicate with the lost spirits of the deceased that, for some reason or another, had not reached the Fugue plane as intended.

Growing up, Torgrim proved to be a less than ideal pupil, showing little regard for his "gift" and the spiritual teachings of his mother. Once he reached adulthood, Torgrim left the tribal life behind to seek out his father in the Ten-towns, discovering that he had been part of a criminal organization operating out of Easthaven.''

As Torgrims abilities grew unchecked by the diciplinary training that had been intended for him, the voices of the dead became more and more of a nuisance. Though at first succssful in drowning out the spirits with drink, one particularly traumatizing haunting left Torgrim with no other option than to leave his life with the organization behind.

Now, while trying his best to live a quiet life in Targos, Torgrim spends his days playing the lute for coin and spending it on only what he needs to survive.
