Vic Lombardi is in his late forties. He's a big man, tall and wide, looking like the longshoreman he was in his youth. He is dark complected with dark hair and eyes and a well-tended moustache. His smile has something predatory about it.

He dresses in rather rumpled suits. He needs glasses to read most documents.

His voice is rough with a trace of an Italian accent, but his keen mind is obvious. He tends to speak slowly, usually around an unlit cigar that seems to have a permanent place in his jaw. He dislikes having to repeat himself, but is otherwise a courteous man.
