Derrick is of average height and slight build.  He's not the best looking guy in the room, but he might have the best sense of humor.  He has a knack for seeing the world a little askew and bringing a smile to others with his observations or even an old joke at the right time.

He's often found reading a book, checking out a how-to video, or listening to some random podcast about quantum physics, neural architecture, bandicoot habits, or the latest research in psychology.
