Idashi has piercing eyes that seem to go through to see straight to the heart of whatever he beholds.  In standard Crane form, Idashi keeps his armor and robes pristine as much as possible, but counter to fashion he keeps his hair solid black rather than white.  Even in his hair, he refuses to plaster over the truth with a convenient lie.

He regularly wears O-Yoroi great armor, but switches to one of his well-made kimonos for regular court occasions, reserving his immaculately designed one for very special meetings.  On each, the crane mon has a down-turned fan at its base. The fan clearly signifies that he is a member of the Blue Chrysanthemum dojo, known as a training ground for magistrates - both clan and Emerald.
