A large, angry-looking man with the air of lightly constrained violence about him, Cas - he tends to reserve his full name for special occasions - has been released from his brig cell and, while he retrains the prominent cheeks scars from the two ill-treated wounds cut into him before he was fed to the sharks looks a great deal better than he did.

 Salt has hardened him, several battles have shown him to be almost insanely courageous and he's acquired a couple of sets of clothing - including one flamboyant and stylish set meant for shore leave and the more practical, day-to-day sailing garb he sometimes wears with the laced-leather tunic and kilt he's acquired for use in combat.

 He still sticks to short, ugly chopping blades though.
