Verity is a Wealthy merchant in Waterdeep. She grew up in Waterdeep from the Tiefling district. She worked hard to gather up enough money to pay for an apprenticeship in a mercantile guild. During her works with the guild she would after be sent to other cities to arrange the buying and sale of goods.  In this time she started doing her own side deals to make money.

In one mysterious deal she made with a ship that was blown off course and lost, she bought their entire hold. From that haul she was able to make a substantial amount of money and this started her rise to the top of her guild. She still takes a high interest in her day to day dealings and trades in a vast number of things that change based on the price and needs and wants from areas she trades in.

Verity is friendly and seems to seek out and befriend any race that is somewhat looked down upon by others.
