Physical Description:
Zauggtaughf is a wire-thin halfling just shy 4' tall whose face is blackened with powder burns and his beard stained with soot. His left arm is missing from the shoulder, but an unlikely-looking contraption made of pipes, wires, springs, toothed gears, and glass bulbs can be seen between his shirt sleeve and his gloves; his gloved left hand remains bizarrely dexterous. His clothes are coarse and well-worn but colorful linens underneath a stained leather apron covered with stuffed pockets where greasy-looking tools stick out at all angles and a hammer at his waist. He wears a red bandanna around his neck which he can bring up to mask his face, and on his head a jaunty green bycocket with a purple feather of some strange bird.

A motley metal and wood patchwork of a shield is slung on his back, and he carries in his right hand a 2' long copper tube etched with arcane runes secured by cooper's bands to a polished wooden handle, engraved similarly.

A cloud of smoke follows him as he walks out of his ramshackle tower, both because of the cigar he puffs on chomped between pearly white teeth in a rictus-grin, and because of the tiny bipedal contraption that follows him on whirring legs. The latter's body looks like a tin can with limbs similar to its master's: one hand looking like a pair of pliers holding a circular sawblade, the other a blackened tube over top another tube jetting a tiny blue pilot light in front of the other; both connected to a glass jar reservoir of viscous liquid.
