"Lefty" is a Japanese-American sixteen-year-old girl. She has long black hair, dark, flat gray eyes, and a small, thin figure that combine with her delicate features to make her look younger than she really is. She wears thin-framed glasses and has several piercings in one ear.

In normal situations, Lefty usually gives off an aura of composed boredom, like she's politely waiting for whatever's currently happening to be over. It's the abnormal situations she tends to find more interesting. She has a strong sense of mischief where her powers are concerned, but since she doesn't like being on the receiving end of them, she tends to take a "don't start nothing, won't be nothing" approach when dealing with other people that have them.

Although she really is a southpaw, her nickname is a pun dating back to being a sidekick; she's thinking of changing it when she gets to the big leagues herself.
