While not as big, or as heavy, or as covered in metal, as most golems at about three and a half feet this creature could probably pass for a gnome in the dark if it needed to.  Carrying a staff that could be the spinal cord of some unfortunate humanoid, or just carved to look that way, Finder gives off the distinct impression of some kind of spellcaster.

Accompanying him at all times are a set of silent bodyguards, all in heavily concealing cloaks and clothing such that no part of them or the armor they sound like they are wearing can be seen.  They are never more than a dozen steps away.  The Clockwork Owl that is sometimes visible but more often either flying overhead or gone entirely is clearly his version of a familiar.
