Calls-the-Sky

Name: Calls-the-Sky
Species: Garou (Rank 5, Elder)
Auspice, Tribe: Theurge Child of Gaia
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Nationality: British-Australian
Gender and Pronouns: Cisgender woman, she/her
Sexuality: Mostly but not quite entirely heterosexual

Description: A stately woman with an intense gaze, Calls-the-Sky rarely smiles but when she does it can light up a room - or terrify everyone who sees her. She knows exactly how to leverage her presence in the moment. She used to be blonde but now her hair is silver.

Notes: The oldest Garou at the Sept by at least nineteen years, Calls-the-Sky has seen a great deal of war and death in her time. While the blessings of Gaia keep her body hale and strong, her true might lays in her alliance with the local spirits. She was present when the caern fell briefly to an incursion of Wyrm minions back in the 60s; she was not the one at the head of the charge to drive the enemies out, nor was she leading the rite to reawaken and cleanse Bougoodoogahdah, but as the demands of the task and the lightning reprisal strikes of their foes claimed more and more Garou, she was the one that completed it.

Ever since, Calls-the-Sky has had a special bond with the patron spirit, and was given the title 'Beloved of the Lyrebird.' Were she not so given over to her work with the spirits of the area she might lead the Sept; that is, however, not her calling and she knows it.

Calls-the-Sky has had several children and has many grandchildren, but none have proven to be Garou and all have left the area. As her life is bound up with the Tarra Valley, she has lost contact with all of them.

While she does not talk about it, her close friend and former packmate, Sees-Between, were briefly lovers for a time. They may still be, for that matter.
