Description: Laughs-Loudest looks a bit overweight, but on closer observation this barrel of a man isn't tubby but instead thoroughly muscular. His red hair is evidence of his background and the remains of his Irish brogue are faint but distinct enough to be identifiable. He looks quiet and reserved most of the time.
He favours 'lumberjackwear,' as he calls it - flannel shirts, tough jeans and sturdy steel-toed work boots.
Notes: Laughlan Lake is quiet most of the time and commands respect through his down-to-earth manner. He laughs very seldom, and indeed only rarely smiles, but when he does either it is commonly at someone else's expense. His deed name was gained from a long war of attrition that he waged in earlier years when he was a Fostern. Despite having to rein in his Rage countless times, he suffered abuse after abuse to both pride and body working undercover to bring down a sex trafficking ring supported (and largely implemented) by a group of particularly corrupt police officers.
As their hideouts burnt with them locked inside, three years after his sting operation began, Laughlan allowed himself a smile. When the news broke (thanks to the judicial release of three years worth of proof) a month later that these 'noble officers of the law, tragically taken by a freak accident' had been abducting hapless women and selling them into literal slavery, he truly laughed last - and loudest.
Nobody in the Sept has been quite willing to mess with him, since then.
