Jade is a young woman with a world-weary expression and her hair shaved into a short, untidy mohawk. Her normal colour is evidently black, as her roots are growing out, but the rest is dyed a honey-blonde. She has a number of tattoos along her arms, though not consolidated enough to qualify as full sleeves, and several appear to be quite inexpert and rudimentary. The most recent is a pair of small hearts, one jade-green and the other amber-yellow.

She is always accompanied by a smallish cat with green eyes and black fur with grey rosettes.
