Fiona Buxton

Name: Fiona Olivia Buxton

Age: 20 years old

Character Description: Youthful perfection. It is the best and only way to describe Fiona; she is a mirror image of her mother, with pale blonde hair that falls in waves down to her mid back and snow white skin that almost appears porcelain to the naked eye. Brilliant olive eyes and high cheek bones compliment her perfect Cupid's bow lips and long neckline, the soft curve of young, ample hips and a small waist carrying a well-balanced chest that draws in the perfect hourglass image. Fiona is rarely ever seen disheveled or unkept beyond her own bedroom, the regular habit of brushing her hair, practising her smile and smelling like daisies a very important part of her persona upkeep.

While Fiona may not be the social butterfly that her sister Margaret is, the youngest Buxton instead finds solace in kindness and empathy, choosing manners and following the rules over the drama of being anything but the perfect woman. She can be a docile flirt when the situation presents itself, unafraid to speak up when called upon but don't count her out when it comes to a party: while Fiona won't be the loudest or the rowdiest one there, be forewarned that even without her infamous last name she is known to be the belle of the ball.

Skills/Accomplishments: Fiona is an accomplished violin player who enjoys painting and sketching, and is most often found practicing music in the library or out in the garden with her easel or a book and a pot of tea. She is easy on the eyes and can be rather friendly and social when required of her, even if she occasionally comes off a little bit mousey at first. Unlike her sister Margaret, Fiona sees herself to be the perfect daughter, her studious nature consistently striving to be the pride of the Buxton family that she believes her sister is not.

Flaws/Shortcomings: As with any outwardly perfect human being, Fiona carries a secret that her family does not share. Her desire for perfection is sometimes quite extreme, and this has lead to her having a history with eating disorders. Fiona's relationship with food is quite unhealthy, and she sees no issue with what she is doing and the decisions she makes about her diet. For the few family members who know; it really is best not to bring it up at all, as this is one of very, very few topics that can bring young Fiona to anger, and quickly.

Rumors also suggest that Fiona may or may not be a products of infidelity because of her pale white hair that does not match either of her older siblings, but no evidence has ever surfaced of such tall tales and Madam Buxton has never spoken any truth of the matter.

Background: When Fiona was born, some say the angels sang the most beautiful song any man had ever heard. She was the epitome of perfection, unflawed with the most silky pale hair, the smoothest skin and ultimately, a second chance for the Buxton's to prove their worth. Margaret was a stand up daughter, but Fiona was meant to be their redemption prize. Their claim to bigger things and even brighter futures.

And for many years that was exactly what she was: Fiona was smart, loved to learn and looked up to her older brother and sister with pride. She wanted to be just like them, perhaps someday even better than them! She was always proud to be a Buxton, and everywhere she went, people knew who she was. The youngest Buxton was beautiful, charming, talented and would make the perfect wife to any man, once she came of age.

She especially liked that people never talked about how she couldn't keep food in her stomach. (Because she was quite good at never showing it, of course) That she had a beautiful figure, and how they wished they looked like her! She loved how much people complimented her hair, how jealous they felt about the men who fawned over her and oh, how talented she was! Only Fiona knew just how hard she had to work to garner the attention, but she loved every minute of it.

She has since come of age and her family believes she is finally ready for a husband. But Fiona believes she has been ready for a long time, and looks forward to one day becoming a mother, desiring the perfect children with only the perfect husband she (well, her brother, really) can find. The youngest Buxton will likely be quite picky, since she needs only the right man that will complete the vision she sees for herself, but who is to say that she can't still be swept off her feet? Fiona does enjoy a happy ending, after all.
