Digger is of average height and weight for a human. He wears leather clothing much repaired, often using metal rivets to hold patching material on, and carries a pack on his back. The pack has a rather large collection of tools on it (most obviously repaired more than once): A sledge hammer, a shovel, a pick, a crowbar, a couple of hand axes, a hammer, even a pot.

At his belt is a rock hammer, dagger and stuffed belt pouch.
