Grog at the Aerie Covenant

Description
Ali is only 17 years old, but he had to grow up fast, so he appears older than he is. An ugly Man with wrinkled skin, looks like he was in a fire (dark, scarred face). Usually he hides the fact that he has clawed hands and the inside of his mouth is green, like his eyes. Dresses like a Taureg.

Background
Al's "unfortunate" appearance has always caused him to be bullied. He was abandoned by his mother to a merchant caravan shortly after his birth. Out of duty, one of the merchants took care of him, and he grew up traveling around North Africa. He had a tendency to walk out into the desert, due to his lack of friends. He adopted Taureg Dress, due to the facial covering. His veil is not a magic item, as many Taureg Men wear. This has dyed his dark skin with some blue, on his face.
He was moving through one of the Mediterranean coastal cities when he realized others could not understand all of the languages he could hear. He realized that he could make money with this, especially in the slave trade. So many languages!
He met Jaegar in his dog form, and due to the circumstances, agreed to accompany him. A talking dog wasn't something to pass up, so they spent time talking. Eventually Ali decided to go with the weird dog, and so he came to Harco. He accompanies Jaegar, at least upon arrival. He doesn't seem to react to the Gift at all, positively or negatively.
