Malleo ex Verditius of the Redcap covenant (name of covenant pending vote)

Emperor Henry VI of the Holy Roman Empire left for the Holy Land during the spring of 1997. In his german host was Hartmann Zimmermann, a carpenter from Hildesheim in Niedersachsen. When he returned from the crusades during the autumn of 1198 his wife had given him a son, Heinrich.

Young Heinrich did not get along with the other kids in the village, but he took after his father and helped him at work from a young age. One day when heinrich was 7 years old he cut himself while whittling and he bled blue blood.

His father imediatly accused Heinrich of being a Wechselkind, a changeling, and threw him out into the forest for his kind to take him back.

Heinrich managed on his own by stealing food and eating what little he could in the forest before he got caught when trying to steal from a group traveling through the area. They took pity in young Heinrich and brought him with them to their home in Fengheld where his gift was discovered and Peter von Würzberg took him as an apprentice. Peter takes him to Sardinia where his gifts are opened and he is initiated into the cult of Verditius.

He participates in the Veditius competition as an apprentice in 1216 without achieving any result worth mentioning and passes the gauntlet in 1220.
