Description
Mordechai is a rotund man with a big heart. He is a jovial man, but his mind is always about how to improve his life, and the lives of those around him.  Standing at 5’5”, he’s about average height, and has a kind smile.


Background
He was born in the kingdom of Leon to jewish parents, but after the massacre of the jews in Toldeo, his family fled south, and managed to secure sanctuary at Estancia-es-Karida. He was a friendly boy, who had a good head on his shoulders, and his father expected him to become a rabbi. But after their move to the covenant, he sought to become an indispensable part of it, and learnt the difficult task of helping run it.
During his years there, he befriended Arnaldo, as an apprentice, and saw him grow into a Magus. When he heard that there are new opportunities in North Africa about to be opened, he volunteered to go along, partly to keep his friend, clueless as he is in social matters, and partly as a way to prove himself in a new covenant, and possibly secure a future for himself.
